It really is no longer a man's world. Those few places that the male population used to be able to resort to in order to get away from it all is no longer void of the female gender. At least not when it comes to fishing anyway. Nowadays its not unusual to see a lady standing in a boat casting out her line with the best of them.
In the past it isn't because women didn't feel that they could fish, they simply felt that it was a man's thing so they really didn't take much interest. Many women though after being somewhat forced into becoming a fisherman's wife adopted the attitude if you can't beat em then join em. Much to their surprise they soon developed a passion for the sport and they were the ones that were planning the next fishing trip.
With the cost of living today and the expenses for entertainment, a couple that enjoys fishing together really can use it as a great tool to help enhance their relationship. Any husband would be certainly pleased to be able to enjoy a vacation which could include a time of fishing and his partner enjoying it with him right along side of him.
Lets face it. Its not pleasant for the man who has to be constantly battling with his wife everytime he wants to go a do some fishing. If she is willing to join him however it really solves a lot of arguments. Of course it still needs to be kept within reason, unless both parties become absolutely entrawled with fishing, which is not unheard of.
The first few times the lady decides to tag along on the fishing excursions may be a bit of a nuisance. Most men just want to get their line in the water as quickly as possible. When the partner is along the men have to take on the role of teachers. Its well worth it though when it means a lot less hassle in the future both by wanting to get out to fish and finding out the wife catches onto fishing real quick. Some men get a little hurt when the wife turns out to be the better fisherperson of the two!
